Smile connexion screen

Hi,
I'd like to change screen resolution at boot. I've seen that there is a parameter :
linux resolution=1024x768

As said, in A 1.2 but I would like to change the resolution for everytime. So I don't want to put it at startup everytime. I don't know which file to change for this.

Where is the configuration file for boot startup or default X server ?

Thanks
