bluetooth GPS receiver using gpsdrive...

I'm following this article http://www.frontiernet.net/~beakmyn/...paq%203975.htm to connect my "Holux GPSlim240 Bluetooth GPS Receiver" (Which i am told runs NMEA mode) to my bluetooth enabled laptop running fedora 7. I get up to the point of "Bind without restarting" but when following the "Test The GPS Connection" section the output is nothing like the standard NMEA sentences in the example, here's a screenshot of the output: http://tinyurl.com/ytdhs6
The output comes from running cat /dev/rfcomm0

Ok i've got it to work, seems that the gps receiver somehow went into a different mode and it's battery had to be drained until it turned itself off. That reset the mode to NMEA. I was now able to receive usefull data when doing cat /dev/rfcomm0.
