Cool instalation feezes when installing CUPS (common unix printing system)

when i instal fedora core 2 and it starts to instal it gets to cups (common unix printing system) and it just stops in gui mode i can't do anything move the cursor, eject the cd nothing. i would hope that someone can help me. my thoery was that i needed to put the cd #2 in but i can't get the cd-rom to open so that was a bummer so i hope i can get some help thank you
