Exclamation sql developer

HI guys

I used to have a program called sqldeveloper on my old windows machine as well as on my SUSE machine.

After migrating to Fedora 6 thoug, I cannot use this program.

I downloaded and installed the relevant RPM but getting the following error when trying to run this:

# sqldeveloper

Oracle SQL Developer
Copyright (c) 2006, 2007, Oracle. All rights reserved.

WARNING: error instantiating 'java.util.logging.FileHandler,' referenced by handlers, class not found
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: java.util.logging.FileHandler,
<<No stacktrace available>>
Exception during runtime initialization
java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError
<<No stacktrace available>>
Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException
<<No stacktrace available>>

Does someone know how to fix this or what I need to get it to run?

this is rather an urgent issue as I require this or a similar package for my daily tasks.
