Security and Privacy Sadly, malware, spyware, hackers and privacy threats abound in today's world. Let's be paranoid and secure our penguins, and slam the doors on privacy exploits.

Can someone check out this iptables

ok im trying to help my friends work get this machine to the ouside world but im having some trouble.

after looking over things I know the setup, and me and a couple others I asked think iptables may be dropping some packets, however none of us are good enough with it to really know by reading, so im hoping somone can help.

basically its like this:

192.168.50.150----->192.168.50.50 (eth0) > 192.168.1.54 (eth1) ---------> 192.168.1.1

50.150 = linux desktop
50.50 and 1.54 = linux server acting as router/firewall
1.1 = netgear just for DSL connection aparently

so thats how the linux desktop gets out, through the middle server. however when coming in from the outside you cant get any farther then 192.168.50.50. all routes on all machines appear correct to a few networking people. the IP Tables on the middle server has quite a bit in it though so we think that may have something to do with it.

thank you
