FC2 Acer Ferrari 3000 - grub conf vga=794

FC2 on Acer Ferrari 3000 with grub conf option "vga=794" failed when startx, error message said framebuffer must have numbered.

vga=794 means that you are trying to get into 1280x1024 resolution. Is that what you want? I know most laptops do not have screens of that resolution, but instead either 1024x768 or 1400x1050. I suggest changing vga=794 to vga=791, which will give you 1024x768.

With FC1 that's fine and looks work, i like the resolution.....
I think, because framebuffer mode used, and conflict with X-Window framebuffer.....

It could well be that FC1 just ignored that statement and switched to a display mode that is suitable. That chould be causing your trouble with X11.
