Resetting Monitor Resolution

I had a power outage this morning, and upon restarting my computer I found that my monitor was stuck at a very low resolution.

On the KDE control panel I can only choose a max resolution of 800X600; is there a way I can have my monitor be redetected at its normal higher resolution?
