i have the livna fglrx driver installled, xgl, and beryl. I think the problem has something to do with my xorg.conf file, but i dont know.

Anything i should change? i know how to use vi and have a Kubuntu liveCd handy.
EDIT: i just remembered, i haven't updated my system fully yet, it there any way to only update packages that start with a certain letter?(with a CLI?)
My comp hangs when i try all at once. --NVM.
