Java Runtime Environment for Mozilla Firefox

Hello,

I wanted to go to this site:
www.chatspan.com/adultchat/adultschat.html

The site says to install J2RE, so I searched google, found this page

I downloaded jre-6u1-linux-i586-rpm.bin from sun's webpage and followed all procedures described in here (Install, creating symbolic link etc)

But still when I restarted Firefox, and retried to enter that site, it still says install missing plugins.

Whats wrong? Please explain

type: about:plugins in the URL field to see if the java plug-in is showing up on the list; then check your preferences to make sure that you have enabled java: Edit=>Preferences=>Content=>Enable JavaScript and =>Enable Java.

It is important, to make a symbolic link, do not copy the lib into the plugin directory.
This was my fault.
Know it works.
