Question imwheel acting up in fc7

After getting ndiswrapper working on my fc7 system, I went ahead and started working on getting imwheel configured. I followed the instructions here. After following the instructions, imwheel isn't making the side buttons on my mouse browse back and forward. Instead, they are just scrolling up and down. Has something changed in fc7 that would cause this?
