svn problem

i'm running a fc2 in a box and i'm trying to install an app from svn but i can't seem to get it to copy to my system
when i issue the command:
[root@Calibretto Transmission]# svn co svn://svn.m0k.org/Transmission/trunk
i get this
-bash: svn: command not found

i don't seem to understand why it doesn't copy it

any help would be appreciated

thanks in advance
