I am having a bit of trouble installing beryl in FC5. I have the "extras" yum repo enabled but it can't find beryl-kde or beryl-gnome in the beryl extras repo. But several places say that
Code:
yum install beryl-kde
should work fine. Is there some trick to finding beryl in the Fedora extras repo? I just get:
Code:
# yum install beryl-kde
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Setting up Install Process
Setting up repositories
core [1/4]
updates [2/4]
freshrpms [3/4]
extras [4/4]
Reading repository metadata in from local files
Parsing package install arguments
No Match for argument: beryl-kde
Nothing to do
Can anyone else see the beryl-kde or beryl-gnome in the extras listing. I have tried:
and it returns nothing. I have the following settings in my fedora-extras.repo file:
Code:
[extras]
name=Fedora Extras $releasever - $basearch
#baseurl=http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/extras/$releasever/$basearch/
mirrorlist=http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors/fedora-extras-$releasever
enabled=1
gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora-extras
gpgcheck=1
