usbnetworking to an SA-1100 based PDA -- how do it get it started?

I've got an SA-1100 based PDA (an ipaq h3870 in case you where wondering) which I have recently installed Familiar 0.8.4 on.

I have a lot of nice extra hardware for it but so far I have been unable to get any kind of networking running on it, and I think that my only real chance right now is getting USB networking running, between my main (Fedora Core 6) mahcine and my PDA.

If anyone have tried this before or something similar (USB networking) I'd appreaciate some help.
I have already found this site: http://www.linux-usb.org/usbnet/, which gave me a huge insite into how usb networking works, but haven't given me any working connection up.
