Old microsoft compression format

In 2005 at a thrift shop I bought a MS Font Pack for Win 3.1
It has some nice ttf fonts.

They are NOT cab files nor are they zip files.
Back then I figured out how to extract the fonts, but I can't remember how now

I want to exract them again because back then, I neglected to preserve the time stamp.

I remember the tool I used I had to download from the web, it was not in any of the Fedora repos I use (core/updates/extras/livna) - but I can't remember what it was called.

Here's directory listing of the floppies:

Code:
[root@atlantis ~]# ls -1 /tmp/floppy/
fontname.dl_
fonts001.in_
fonts001.ms_
mscomstf.dl_
mscpydis.in_
mscuistf.dl_
msdetect.in_
msdetstf.dl_
msinsstf.dl_
msregdb.in_
_mssetup.ex_
msshared.in_
msshlstf.dl_
_mstest.ex_
msttfont.in_
msuilstf.dl_
setupapi.in_
setup.exe
setup.ini
setup.lst
ver.dl_
[root@atlantis ~]# ls -1 /tmp/floppy2/
gothicbi.tt_
gothicb.tt_
gothici.tt_
gothic.tt_
lcallig.tt_
lfaxd.tt_
lfax.tt_
lhandw.tt_
lmath1.tt_
lmath2.tt_
lmath3.tt_
lsansd.tt_
lsansi.tt_
lsans.tt_
ltypebo.tt_
ltypeb.tt_
ltypeo.tt_
ltype.tt_
etc. (Floppy 3 and 4 are same as 2)

If I'm not mistaken, it is only the tt_ files that are of interest to me.
Anyone know what they were compressed with and can remind of what tool decompresses them?

Run file on them, see what it thinks they are.

I see setup.exe, possibly wine could be coaxed to run them.

There is cabextract in Fedora.

Back then in Windows 3.0/3.1/3.11, it has extract.exe:
extract lmath1.tt_ lmath1.ttf
