Lightbulb How to Change from Gnome to KDE??

This might be a dumb question. But I do know that Fedora Core 6 comes with Gnome and KDE? How can I access them? Noob...sorry... I am loving Fedore, Ive almost got everything working. IVe got flash, ive got mount from windows.

If you installed both Gnome and KDE you should be able to change to either one via "session" at the graphical login.

If you didn't install KDE go to "Applications>Add/Remove Software" and select it there.

When I log out and try to log back in I just get the username field with the blue backround. I dont see any session menu??? What am I doing wrong? I do have both of them installed, i just checked to make sure

When you are at the login screen which I am posting a link to the official Fedora image you can look at. At the bottom there are:
"Language-Session-Restart-Shut Down", go to "Session" and you should see Gnome and KDE listed to choose from.



You can also install a "desktop switching tool" that will be accessed from "System>Preferences>More Preferences>Desktop Switching Tool" or from a terminal "$ switchdesk".

Just do:

# yum install switchdesk-gui
