FC FUTURE: New Fedora INIT system and fc development plans

I have a few questions about the future of fedora:

1.A while back I read that fedora was working on a viable replacement for sysv I believe. I read that at distrowatch. I haven't heard much about this since then. Is this still in the works for fc7 or is it fc7+ or is it no longer being worked on.

    2. Also, is there a gui in the works for pilgrim?

    3. Also, will the pilgrim/pungi tools allow for easy re-branding.

    1. See http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Core/Schedule
    2. Not currently.
    3. This would be useful. You can file RFE's on both in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla...6LiveCDTracker. Post to fedora-live cd list for discussions.

I filed the requests, hopefully it's done right.

The better thing would be file a separate bug and add it to the tracker one but this is ok. Thanks.

Ah, so that's how it works. Lol I'll keep that in mind for next time. (Should I go ahead and do this? Would it get better attention that way or be easier to process or will this suffice?)

Tracker bugs are meant to keep a list of other bugs as dependency and no information should in general be added to them other than a note marking them as as a tracker bug. Since you have added the information directly this should suffice for now I guess.
