New User Help

Hey all......I'm trying to run the live CD of Fedora 6. For some reason when I boot from the CD, I get a few lines of text, then when it goes into the login screen, my monitor becomes "scrambled, and I can't see any screen! Is there some sort of way to get around this problem? I'm using a 19" LCD Monitor, and it seems like there is a problem with either the detection of the monitor, or possibly the video card (Nvidia FX5200) any help would be appreciated......thanks.
