Fedora 6 - tomcat user - password?

Hi Everyone,

I've installed the latest version of Tomcat 6.0.2 - now I'm trying to get the user "tomcat" (which appears to have been created by Fedora during the install) password figured out so I can start the server via the Tomcat user instead of running it as root.

So the basic question(s) are:

1) What is the default password?
2) How can I change this password if I don't know it?
3) Am I just being plain stupid?

Please - don't answer #3...

You don't need any password to start the tomcat service as the tomcat user.
su tomcat -c $TOMCAT_STARTUPSCRIPT

I'm not sure how this is handled in Tomcat 6, but in older Tomcat releases user passwords are configured in tomcat-users.xml. In tomcat 5 on FC6 this file is located in the /etc/tomcat5 directory.
