Hi have a Netgear fwg114p router configured for ipsec i believe. I just got into the whole VPN stuff and trying to do as much reading as i can with IPsec. I seam to be confused with certain things that i get asked with VPNC. if anyone could explain or post a link it would be awesome.
When i load vpnc i get asked the following but some i dont know what they mean.
IPSec gateway ( my ip address or domain name which i understand)
IPSec ID: (Don't know what they mean, could it be the name of the connection?)
IPSec secret: (don't know what my IPsec secret means either)
IPsec username: (my user name or policy name i guess)
Ipsec password: (got that).
