Migration from i386 to x86_64

Hi,

I mistakenly installed the i386 version of FC6 instead of the x86_64 one. Is there a way to painlessly switch/update between the two or do I need to reinstall?

Thanks

the best option would be to reinstall...use the same partitions and reinstall.
upgrade may take a long time even if it is possible.

if you have not done too much of configuration or customization then it is best that u reinstall.

Hi there, before you reinstall with the 64bit: it seems to have a lot of little issues. I had a lot of issues with things like flash, java, multimedia, video drivers, etc. The i386 version is, in my opinion for right now, much more painless and functional.

You should do a fresh install. What I understand of it when you upgrade from i386 - i-x86 or vis versa, the libs get messed up.
