FC6 using VM with XP pro?

Hello everyone. My friend runs VMware and I believe FC4 as he said that's all that was supported. Maybe at the time, or maybe he just didn't know!
I only have 1 PC and wanted to try Fedora using a Virtual Machine to play around with and see how it is.

What virtual machines do I have to chose from that will work with FC6?

Do you want to use FC as a VMware host or guest? Actually, both will work: I have Fedora Core development version a.k.a. Rawhide running as a VMware guest on a FC6 host.

VmWare should work fine with FC6.

Hi Vmware workstation 5.5 works on any linux distro that i have tried , Yes it works with fedora core 6 X86_64 and see no reason why it should not work with i386 . I think i have miss read you . I use 5.5 on fc6 and can install fc6 0n this V.M ok
