Open Office Base - FC6 x64

Help please, Base won't let me create tables or forms using the java installed by default. I've now installed jre-1_5_0_09-linux-amd64-rpm.bin and this shows up in the java apps available to OO. However when I try to work on a database I get "connection to data source could not be established". It says that:

SQL Status: S1000
Error code: 1000

No Java installation could be found. Please check your installation!

I have activated jre 1.5.0.09 via the settings menu.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Colin

Sun's Java screwed up Fedora's Java (classpath). And the OpenOffice.org packages use Fedora Java. Remove the jre you installed and follow the FAQ if you want Sun's.
