ipw2100 device eth1 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.

Hi guys, just installed fc6 on my laptop an hp pavilion
on the network manager I can see my wireless card detected, under firmware I can see the firmware files,
when I try to activate the network i get the error:

ipw2100 device eth1 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.

try some command found in he formun similar topics:

[root@localhost sbin]# /sbin/modprobe -r ipw2200
[root@localhost sbin]# /sbin/modprobe ipw2200
[root@localhost sbin]# /sbin/ifdown eth1
[root@localhost sbin]# /usr/sbin/wpa_supplicant -Dwext -ieth1 -c/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf -Bw
[root@localhost sbin]# /sbin/dhclient eth1

same problem

tried reboot the box

same problem

any help greatly appreciated.
