Problem with mplayer and vlc!

Hy!
I am a new Fedora Core user.I managed to install most of the software that i need but I cannot run mplayer and vlc.I get this error: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libx264.so.54: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied
I tried to look for the library on the internet but I cannot find it
please help me
