panel and drawers?

I sure like the idea of having a couple drawers on the panel. I added two
and put Evolution, Mozilla, sticky notes, calculator and a couple other
things in them. Named the drawers and everything. Checked them out, all
worked fine. Next boot: drawers and contents still there but nothing will
run when clicked on. Did I miss something somewhere in this process?
