HighPoint RocketRAID 2220 8P SATA II/300 RAID5, - FC5

Hi

I am trying to install the HighPoint RocketRAID 2220 8P SATA II/300 RAID5, raid adapter, but when i load the drives for the card, the computer stops responding and i have to use the reset buton to reboot/turn it off.
I have tried the orginal driver and the open source driver with no luck. I am running the latest stable kernel for x86_64.

Did you delete the sata_mv file? I found that adding the card driver during the fedora install process doesn't work, at least for me!

I installed FC5 without any RAID drivers loaded during the install, then added the Highpoint drivers once the installation was completed.

delete if from where? I am having issues with a 2320 card and am willing to try just about anything.

Also, if you installed the drivers after installation, you did not install FC5 on the raid, correct?
