Reformat corrupted Fat32 from Linux

I've managed to corrupt the partition table on an old HD (I think so anyway) and I would like to reformat the drive and use it as a slave drive on my Linux PC. I installed Fedora Core 4 with a CD I downloaded.

How can I reformat my old HD for FAT 32 from Linux? I've searched around online, but I can't find any way to do it.

If you have Linux already installed, then installl gparted:
Code:
su -
yum install gpared
Now just start it from the menu: 'Applications > System Tools > Gpared'
The rest is all there in the GUI. If you don't have Linux already installed, then you'll want the 'Gparted LiveCD'. Just Google it, it'll come up...

maybe you can try TestDisk (yum install testdisk) to see if it can fix the partition table

you can use a partitioning tool like "parted" or "qtparted", or you can use the command-line "mkdosfs" directly
