Updated Inkscape unwanted dependency

There was an update to Inkscape today which I installed along with some XORG updates. The only problem is it also installed a really ugly drawing program called 'Skencil' as a dependency!
How can I get rid of this without it taking Inkscape along with it? It's never needed it in previous versions so why now? Or is it a packaging error?

Thanks,

Wayne

In the meantime I've gone back to the previous version. I noticed on the Inkscape homepage there is a version in Linux 'Autopackage' format. I wonder what is to stop us using that?

They also have a link to a VERY large free clipart package which I'm downloading now!

Right or wrong, in the end I got the new version. After removing the previous version with yum I then downloaded from:

http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu....44-2.fc5.html

and ran:

rpm -i --nodeps inkscape-0.44-2.fc5.i386.rpm

Note: There were other dependencies but they were previously installed when I updated to the new version of Inkscape with 'yum update' and also got Skencil.
