web server fron scratch

Hello,

I have installed FC5 , i had a few problems with logging in this morning but with a little help from one or two of you i've got a working fileserver. thank you

My next problem is setting up a web server for our local intranet. All the files are written in html/php using a mysql database.

I'm not sure where to start or which services are already available to do this.

Could somone tell me

1) where should i put my web docs
2) is php already running on my system, and if not how do i start it
3) where shall i put my sql database
4) do i have apache or equivalent already running somewhere

I got reasonably good at sorting this sort of thing in windows , but ive finally been persuaded to change. Its a bit more difficult to learn, but im sure it will be worth it !

many thanks in anticipation

graham
