Laptop used in multiple wireless environments

I use my laptop in several wireless environments - home, my office, client offices
Each has different router settings channel, router name, ...
Is there any way to avoid dinking with the config each time I move?
I've tried using the profiles on the network config gui with no success

You could enable NetworkManager and use it to select the different networks when you move around.
