Orangelink Firewire PCMCIA

Does anyone know if the Orangelink Firewire PCMCIA card (NEC chipset) works under FC4?
I have seen references to it working 'under linux' but when I insert it FC4 doesn't appear to recognize it.

I get a 'Cardbus 5.5V in slot 1' message, but it doesn't seem to recognize it specifically.

Thanks,
