Not Finding Video Card

I'm running 2 computers: each with FC4 and an ATI FireGL X1. On one computer, it recognizes it just fine and I have 3D acceleration working, but the other is a totally different story. When I installed Fedora, it recognized it just fine, but (of course) Windows stopped working. The same problem with Windows happened once before, and that time part of what I did was temporarily put a different video card in. When Linux booted with that card, it was all working fine. But when I put the FireGL back in, things went down the tubes. Linux no longer recognizes the card and subsequently won't recognize the monitor. Because of this, I can't get a resolution larger than 1024x768 or 3D acceleration. I installed the ATI drivers to see if they would help recognize the card, but I had no luck with that.

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting Linux to recognize the card again?
