Dell Latitude CPi, no sound?!?!

I have a Dell Latitude CPi laptop and even tho is a 4 year old laptop, it doesn;t recognize the sound card/device on it. I did the soundcard detection under system settings, but it doesn;t find one. What other solutions can i lookat to solve this problem?
