I have a problem in that FC4 does not detect my Geforce GO 6200 card on my Pioneer laptop and therefore the video card installer will not work.
Is there anything I can go to get the system to detect this card.
I have tried a number of install process for the latest video driver but in the end when I modProbe the results come back "no such device". If I reboot and get the system to detect the card it always comes up with a Vesa bog standard driver. If I put in the "nv" driver it works very slow for a while but some corrupts the video.
Help please I need to get my laptop working reliable ASAP. Windows detect the card and works fine. I had another issue with acpi and have set the acpi to "noirq" could this nbe stopping the detection of the card.
I have search for a similar issue here but no one else seems to have this problem.
