ALPS tap-to-drag stops working with 2.6.12-1.1469_FC5

Unlikely I know but has anyone else seen a problem with the new FC5 2.6.12-1.1469 kernel making tap-to-drag stop working? I've checked google, bugzilla and the forums but come up empty. It works under 2.6.12-1.1400, but the mouse code seems to have changed, viz:
Code:
input: PS/2 Generic Mouse on isa0060/serio1
has become
Code:
input: DualPoint Stick on isa0060/serio1
input: AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad on isa0060/serio1
Perhaps I just need to get the synaptics drivers sorted out..

C.
