Hi. I've had FC3 for a while now and love it, but I'm thinking that I would like to try one of the more configurable distros such as gentoo, purely because it looks like fun

I have an 80gb HD, with one winxp partition and a large (60g) linux one. I use the grub bootloader to choose between FC3 and 'other'.
I know it's possible to resize the linux partition to make room for gentoo, but how would I go about using grub with it? I don't want to end up with the situation I had before where the mbr became corrupted and both linux and windows were unbootable
any ideas?
