Need help adding to a Windows Domain

Help!

Disclaimer: I'm very new to linux as a whole.

I've installed Fedora 4 to slowly begin migrating my daily tasks to a Linux workstation. However, I didn't choose to add the box to the domain during installation. Now that I have already installed Fedora 4, how do I get to where I can add it to the domain?

A little direction on how to find the GUI way to do this, but also for anyone out there that can explain to me how to do this the text way would be awesome as well.

hey...depends on what you want to do. If you just want your Fedora box to show up in the network browsing list under winders, you can run Desktop/System Settings/Server Settings/Samba/Prefrerences/Server Settings and change the "Workgroup" to match your domain. Then goto security and change it to either ADS or Server and put in the hostname or IP of your AD box. Another way to do this is to edit the /etc/samba/smb.conf. Run a man smb.conf and check out the parameters there. If you want to "join" you box to AD for authentication (ie logon to your Fedora box and have the credentials authenticated to an AD server) goto Desktop/System Settings/Authentication and enable/configure Winbind support on both tabs. Personally never done it this way before. I have either edited files with vi or did it during the install, but it should work. Hope this helps.
