Unhappy install streamtuner please help im new to linux

im trying to install streamtuner onto my fc4 and im having no luck at all. im very new to linux and the guy that turned me on to linux is tired of hearing me ask for help. i downloaded streamtuner and tried to install. then it gave me an error message saying that the packages
libssl.so.2, libcurl.so.2, and libcrypto.so.2 could not be found. so i downloaded those and tried to install them and was told that i already had a newer version of them on my computer. now i don't know what to do please help.
