Fedora Core 4 released !
It's official now, Fedora Core 4 Linux has finally been released.
http://fedora.redhat.com/ | Release notes | Installation Guide
"Fedora Core 4 is now available from Red Hat and at distinguished mirror sites near you, and is also available in the torrent. Fedora Core is available for x86-64, i386, and ppc/ppc64. Please file bugs via Bugzilla, Product Fedora Core, Version 4, so that they are noticed and appropriately classified. Discuss this release on fedora-list."

The version that has been floating around proves to be identical to the official release. Cool!

I just upgraded from FC4T3 by installing the new fedora-release RPM and running yum update yum then yum update. I hope I didn't shoot myself in the foot doing this. I had to uncomment "baseurl" in the .repo files as the mirrors don't seem to be complete yet.

Am I correct to assume that unless I want to have to compile it, I need to get:
Fedora Core 4 Release binary iso images for i386
And not the source images?
</stupid>
Thanks,

Some of Fedora Extras and Linva have been updated to FC4. Good work there.
