install fc3 on dell optiplex gx150

I am trying to install fc3 on dell optiplex gx150. The initiall bootup screen seems to work fine, however, when continuing to install fc3, it must've detected the wrong video driver and I get a screen which has rainbow colored lines and the computer is frozen at this point. did any body else run into this issue?
