ATI Radeon 9800 pro driver

Hi, I'm new to linux, and just installed FC3 last week. I want to run a certain game but it says
it cant find the XFree86.DRI ... is this something to do with X windows / X org? I want to install the appropriate video card driver but im not sure what X version i should choose.
