Sound problem in Totem Movie Player

Hello!

I've installed "totem-xine" and instalations was with no errors but now when I launch the movie file I have no sound, and the sound bar (or to say exactly the "sound line") not responding, I mean, I can't even change my volume power. However my XMMS can play the mp3 files, that means it's all right fith my sound card and I can hear the test sound when I want to check up my sound card.... So what's the problem?
Is there some sound preferences in KDE rather than "Sound Detection" tool?
If it can be useful in someway there is my sound card description:
1.Vendor VIA
2. Model: Technologies, Inc. VT82C686 AC97 Audio Controller
3. Modue: snd-via82xx
