FC2 on IBM 326 type 8848

Hi all,
I'd like to install FC2 on IBM 326 type 8848 with a lsilogic 1030 scsi raid controller and 2 scsi hd,
but after the boot the process hangs after the message: "calibrating delay loop" and aftre about 3-4 minute I can see a Kernel panic message.

What is surprising is that i can install an old RedHat 9 without problem and without any additional driver.
Any help or suggestion is welcome.
Thanks in advance
Best regards
Accursio Avona
