Talking Cad tools

hi folks

I am looking for cad tools for FC3.

I have tryed qcad but it only runs for 10 min and then shuts down. is there something else out there..

also I did not care for the qcad in that it does not seem to have bind keys for the most common of things like moving or zooming or drawing polygons.. I could be wrong aobut this as im no expert with it.

any help and suggestions

thanks

You have to install the tarball version, not the "pro" version - the professional version times out, whereas the tarball does not (at least that's my experience).

You want to download the "Community Edition" from the qcad downloads page:
http://www.ribbonsoft.com/archives/q...0-1.src.tar.gz

Or use the rpm from pbone:
ftp://ftp.pbone.net/mirror/download....4.0-2.i386.rpm

thanks guys

The rpm worked great..

Im still not sure if I like the tool or not. What I really want are bind keys to make things faster. I would also the arrow keys to move the screen or pan
