USB mic stops working, have to remove/reinsert - since upgrading to f17

Since upgrading to F17, across two computers(I copied home dir to new one), my Telex USB Mic works for along time, then it stops and I have to reboot or unplug/replug to get it working again.

It's still detected, but no matter where you set the volume, there is no sound that seems to be picked up from it.

what to do?

Here's before/after unplug/replug.
