its good that there finally starting to chip away at all the hardware limitations
to bad smolt doesn't get enough data about connected devices

i have lots of Chinese devices USB oscilloscope and mp4 players ect that don't work at all in fedora
if there was a way to connect the device and then type an argument into the kernel to send data about the device to the developers i would be more thain happy to, if it means that finally ill be able to buy just anything from the store and plug it in and use it
