autorun on every login

running fc2 on hp ze4420us. originally had fc1 with no problems at all but wanted to update to 2. everytime i log in as user other than root, i have an autorun at startup. just has an autorun in the taskbar running and the little cd bouncing next to the pointer. then it will just stop. no cd in the drive ever. if i login as root, nothing like that; starts up fine.
