Artifacts on screen with F17 i915 driver

Hi,

I just installed F17 on Saturday and have had some problems with artifacts on the screen and in firefox and chrome. They seem come up easier if I run kde apps, but that could be coincidence.

This is what LSPCI shows:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82G33/G31 Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 10) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
Subsystem: Lenovo Device 303c
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 40
Memory at fea80000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512K]
I/O ports at dc00 [size=8]
Memory at d0000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
Memory at fe900000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=1M]
Expansion ROM at <unassigned> [disabled]
Capabilities: [90] MSI: Enable+ Count=1/1 Maskable- 64bit-
Capabilities: [d0] Power Management version 2
Kernel driver in use: i915

This is on a Lenovo 3000 H210 and the label on the box identifies the graphics as Intel GMA3100.

I can do lots of legwork and am comfortable editing configs and building code. Any help is appreciated..

Thanks,
Nic

This happens with 3.3.4-5 (kernel installed with) and 3.5.2-1 from updates.
