grub2 detecting LVM snapshot and adding it to boot menu

Heya guys,

Before doing an upgrade to the latest Fedora, I used LVM to take a snapshot of my root filesystem.
Now after the upgrade, grub2 is using "os-prober" and getting back my original snapshot.

Is there any way to get os-prober to ignore the LVM snapshots?
Or am I stuck with it till I remove the snapshot?

Also, system-config-boot used to be an... OK ... way to configure the grub config (OK, I never used it - /etc/grub.conf was very easy to edit and understand)
Now I have to wade through a main config file, 7 scripty-config files, the grub2.cnf file and a host of different commands with no real configurability.

grub2.cfg is such an ugly mess now, yet there are no real configuration tools to adjust what is in the menu at the start.
Does anyone know of any tools which might help?

Thanks - as always.

What appears under /dev/mapper? There may be an extra device in there that grub is picking up on.
