Hi

I have installed a F17 last Week and im struggling to get the touchscreenon work my X220t working.

I searched some time and only found an install guide for suse

The forum search only got the idea to install the xorg-x11-drv-wacom-devel which i did but it didnt help.

Can anyone here give me a clue?

Though Gnome 3 is headed in the direction of tablet and touchscreen devices, it is not there yet.
I do not know of any official support for touchscreen (install DE) from Fedora (Gnome 3) yet.

Re: F17 : X220t - Touchscreen question

Just in case you haven't solved it yet, I have an x220t with the same problem. It looks like a kernel issue. See this thread.

I can verify that a few months ago both the touchscreen and pen worked out of the box.

Re: F17 : X220t - Touchscreen question

I tried to configure the wacom-driver manually and after BBQdaves hint i tried every GUI i know.

Nothing helped, so i tried ubuntu and everything worked.
